Police have arrested a person who was selling fake tickets for Diljit Dosanjh’s concert in Delhi. The concert, part of Diljit’s Dil-Luminati Tour, will be held on October 26 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.

Beware of online ticket scams
The arrest comes a month after Delhi Police appealed to fans to beware of online ticket scams. Tickets for the concert sold out within minutes, leaving many fans disappointed. Diljit’s show is going to be held in Delhi and the tickets for the concert are being sold at very expensive prices. Police had received information that black marketing of tickets was taking place and they used this input to bust the gang. South Delhi Police has arrested one person in this case.

Delhi Police learned that tickets were being sold online at exorbitant prices, and urged citizens to exercise caution in dealing with resellers. Police also reported that fake tickets were being sold for the concert and advised people to take extra caution when clicking on unknown links. Delhi Police said that the accused was selling tickets through social media, and they were being sold at prices ranging from Rs 10,000 to Rs 50,000.
