The former chief minister questioned whether Jammu and Kashmir would have been a part of the country if regional parties were implementing Pakistan’s agenda. He said, “I believe that if the Abdullah (National Conference) family had implemented Pakistan’s agenda, Jammu and Kashmir would have been a part of Pakistan, not India.”
The Prime Minister on Thursday launched a scathing attack on the Congress and NC alliance following the alleged remarks of Pakistan’s defense minister regarding Article 370 and accused the alliance of furthering the agenda of the neighboring country. Khawaja Asif had said that his country, the National Conference and the Congress are unanimous on the issue of restoring the special status and statehood of Jammu and Kashmir.
