Testing done in a lab in Gujarat
Telugu Desam Party spokesperson Anam Venkata Ramana Reddy on Thursday claimed that adulteration in ghee samples provided by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam, which manages the Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple, was confirmed by a Gujarat-based livestock laboratory.
Animal fat and fish oil in Prasad
The TDP leader showed the laboratory report, which clearly confirmed the presence of ‘animal fat’, pork fat and fish oil in the sample. The date of sampling was July 9 and the laboratory report was dated July 16.
