PM Narendra Modi Welcome in Kazan

Kazan: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached Kazan, Russia to participate in the BRICS meeting. PM Modi has reached there to participate in the 16th BRICS summit organized under the chairmanship of Russia. PM Modi was given a grand welcome upon reaching Kazan. People of the Indian community seemed very excited about PM Modi’s visit to Russia. Tricolor was seen in the hands of people everywhere, and people were also eager to get a glimpse of the PM. Not only Indians but also Russian people have welcomed PM Modi in a grand manner.

On reaching Kazan, Russian people welcomed PM Modi by singing Krishna hymns. Not only this, when Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Hotel Corston, the artists of the Russian community welcomed him with a spectacular dance performance.

The whole world is watching

Along with the BRICS conference, the eyes of the whole world are also focused on which heads of countries PM Modi will hold bilateral meetings with in Russia. India’s Ambassador to Russia Vinay Kumar has said that PM Modi will hold bilateral meetings with counterparts of BRICS member countries in Kazan.

What did PM Modi say?

After reaching Kazan, PM Modi wrote on the social media platform ‘X’, “I have reached Kazan for the BRICS summit. This is an important summit and the discussions taking place here will contribute to improving the planet.” The Ministry of External Affairs wrote on ‘X’, ”Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached the heritage city of Kazan in Russia. The Prime Minister was warmly welcomed by the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov. Before leaving for Russia, Prime Minister Modi had said, “I am going on a two-day visit to Kazan at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin. I will participate in the 16th BRICS Summit. India attaches great importance to close cooperation within BRICS.

Prime Minister Modi had earlier visited Moscow in July and during this he held summit talks with President Putin. Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa are the original members of BRICS. Now this group has been expanded to include Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates. The BRICS summit is being held in Kazan, Russia from 22 to 24 October.
