The Supreme Court on Thursday sought response from Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and others on a plea by the Sharad Pawar-led camp of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) over the use of ‘clock’ election symbol. A three-judge bench headed by Justice Surya Kant issued notices to the Deputy Chief Minister and others and sought their response on the petition. The apex court directed Ajit Pawar to file a fresh affidavit regarding the court’s directions of March 19 and April 24.
