Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Thursday directed the security forces to give a prompt and befitting reply to the terrorists who attacked the army vehicle in Gulmarg.
The terrorists opened fire on the vehicle in the evening in Buta Pathri area, six km from the tourist spot of Gulmarg in north Kashmir, when it was going towards Naagin Post in the Afrawat Range. Two porters working with the force were killed and four people, including three soldiers, were injured in the attack.
Sinha said that the sacrifice of the martyrs will not go in vain. In a post on ‘X’, the Lieutenant Governor said, “Spoke to top Army officials on the heinous terrorist attack in Buta Pathri sector. Instructions were given to give quick and befitting reply to eliminate the terrorists. The campaign continues. The sacrifice of our martyrs will not go in vain. Condolences to their families. I pray for the speedy recovery of the injured.
