BJP's aim is to stop AAP government's work by seizing power: Kejriwal

Former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday accused the Bharatiya Janata Party of trying to grab power in Delhi by every possible means and its aim is to undo the work done by the AAP government in the last decade.

Kejriwal addressed a public meeting in Moti Nagar as part of the ongoing padyatras across the city ahead of the Delhi Assembly elections to be held in February next year.

Kejriwal said, BJP is trying to grab power in Delhi by every possible means so that it can stop all the work done by AAP in the last 10 years. Kejriwal along with local AAP MLA Shivcharan Goyal roamed the streets of Moti Nagar and greeted people and shook hands with them. Many people garlanded him and took selfies.

Kejriwal alleged that BJP wants to stop AAP’s free electricity, water, health and education schemes. Kejriwal claimed, AAP’s work in these areas in the last 75 years has been unmatched.

He alleged that if BJP comes to power, the situation of long power cuts may again arise in Delhi like in neighboring states like Uttar Pradesh and Haryana. There was no immediate response from BJP on AAP’s allegations.
