Kumar reflected on the long-standing alliance with the BJP, which dates back to 1996, describing it as a strong partnership that has served the state effectively.
Today in the NDA meeting, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He highlighted Modi’s unwavering support towards Bihar since he assumed office. Emphasizing the Prime Minister’s deep affection for the state, Kumar said, “Ever since Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister, he has been continuously providing assistance to Bihar.” Sources have given this information. He called on party members to be committed to ensuring Modi’s fourth term as Prime Minister, expressing confidence that “Modi ji will become Prime Minister for the fourth time.”
Kumar reflected on the long-standing alliance with the BJP, which dates back to 1996, describing it as a strong partnership that has served the state effectively. However, he admitted that the alliance faced challenges due to the influence of some coalition partners. In a candid comment, Kumar hinted that certain individuals, including his minister Vijendra Yadav, had played a role in his previous decisions to partner with the RJD. “They were the ones who advised me to forge an alliance with the RJD,” he said.
This is not the first time Kumar has attributed his previous alliance with RJD to the advice of his colleagues. His comments underscore the complexities of political alliances and ongoing efforts to consolidate support for Modi as the NDA prepares for future electoral challenges. As the discussions continue, Kumar’s endorsement of Modi’s leadership and the historical significance of his alliance highlights strategic maneuvering in Bihar’s political landscape, aimed at consolidating support ahead of the upcoming elections.
