Jaipur . Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma said that the state government is working with the aim of providing better health facilities to every needy. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday, on the occasion of Ayurveda Day, inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of various health sector related projects worth about Rs 12,850 crore through ‘digital medium’, which also includes projects related to Rajasthan. Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma joined this program through ‘video conferencing’ from RBM Hospital in Bharatpur.
Sharma said, “Under Prime Minister Ayushman Bharat, today the foundation stone of Intensive Care Block has been laid in Bharatpur, Dholpur, Churu, Bundi, Chittorgarh, Sirohi, Karauli and Hanumangarh in the state. These are being established in district hospitals and medical colleges.
He said that these sections, equipped with intensive care unit (ICU) beds, operation theater and other emergency facilities, will strengthen the emergency medical facilities in the state. According to the official statement, the Chief Minister said that the state government is working with the aim of strengthening the medical facilities and providing better health facilities to every needy. Under the Chief Minister Ayushman Arogya Yojana, 73 ‘day care packages’ have been included for serious diseases like cancer.
