Noida: Ahead of Diwali, Noida Traffic Police has issued an advisory stating that vehicular movement is restricted near Sector 18, Atta Market, DLF Mall of India and The Great India Place (GIP) Mall from Tuesday and the Sector 18. There will be no parking area near the shopping mall and market area. Noida Traffic Police said there will be no parking area near shopping malls and market areas in Sector 18.
In a traffic advisory, Noida Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Yamuna Prasad said that since a large number of people are expected to visit malls and markets, from Tuesday till Diwali (Thursday), there will be traffic jams at Atta Market, Indira Market, GIP Mall, DLF Mall, There is a ban on movement of autos, tempos and e-rickshaws near the Botanical Garden.

He said that the traffic police has created no parking zones outside the malls like GIP, DLF Mall, Center Stage Mall, Garden Galleria etc. “Illegally parked vehicles will be removed from these areas and e-challans will be issued,” the official said.

According to the traffic advisory, autos, tempos and e-rickshaws will not be able to go from Atta Peer to Sector 18 Market.
All shoppers will have to park their vehicles in the authorized parking of the mall and multi-level parking in Sector 18.

Since there is a no parking zone outside Logix City Center Mall, a crane has been deployed there to remove illegally parked vehicles.
Traffic enforcement will remain in force in Jagat Farm, Pari Chowk, Surajpur, Kasna and Dadri areas of Greater Noida.
If traffic pressure increases in certain areas, they will also divert traffic movement near these shopping malls and markets.
