In a reply letter sent to the commission, Congress said, ‘We have carefully studied your response to our complaints. It is no surprise that the Election Commission has given itself a clean chit. We would normally have left it. But the tone and tenor of the Commission’s response, the allegations used and the allegations made against the Congress compel us to react. He said, ‘We do not know who is advising or guiding the Honorable Commission, but it seems that the Commission has forgotten that it is a body constituted under the Constitution, which is charged with some important functions. According to the Congress, there is no exception if the Commission allows a recognized national party to be heard or investigates the issues raised by it. Congress alleged that instead of providing clarity on the complaints related to the batteries of electronic voting machines, an attempt has been made to create confusion and the complaints were not answered clearly. He claimed that emphasis was laid on belittling the complaints and petitioners and an arrogant reply was given.
