An Indian Air Force (IF) helicopter developed a technical snag and had to make a police emergency landing in the MARTA area of Nagaur, Rajasthan. The helicopter landed in the fields in Jasnagar. Police said there was no report of any loss of life or property. Two helicopters of the Air Force were going from Jodhpur to Jaipur, when a pilot experienced some problem, due to which the helicopter had to land. Merta DSP Ramkaran Malinda said the helicopter took off again after the problem was rectified.
An expert team of the Indian Air Force reached the spot and rectified the technical fault in the helicopter. Earlier on Monday, an Air Force MiG-29 fighter plane crashed in a field in Sunega village near Agra in Uttar Pradesh due to a technical fault during a routine training flight on Monday. Before the plane crashed, its pilot was successful in getting out safely with the help of a parachute.
There were no casualties on the ground in this accident. According to officials, the Air Force’s safety audit team conducted a thorough investigation within a radius of two kilometers of the accident site. He said that the officers included in the team also recorded the statements of the people who witnessed the accident. According to officials, the team has found the black box of the plane, which has been sent for investigation. He told that the security audit team will go to Delhi and submit its report to the Defense Ministry.
