Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma on Wednesday said that on the first anniversary of the state government, several steps will be taken including making one lakh women Lakhpati Didis and also transferring an amount of Rs 150 crore to five lakh children under the Palanhar scheme.
According to the official statement, Sharma said in the review meeting held at the Chief Minister’s Office on Wednesday that the state government will continuously move in the direction of ‘Aapno Aagi Rajasthan’ and will empower the people of the state by giving them many gifts on its first anniversary.
He said that on the occasion of the anniversary in December, an amount of Rs 150 crore will be transferred to 1.5 lakh workers associated with building and other construction. Besides this, scooters will be distributed to two thousand disabled people and by organizing camps in each district, assistive materials and assistive devices will also be provided to 10 thousand disabled people.
He said that an amount of Rs 150 crore will also be transferred to about five lakh children under the Palanhar Scheme. The Chief Minister said that taking another big step towards the economic empowerment of women, the state government will make one lakh women in the state Lakhpati Didi on the first anniversary, which will increase the entrepreneurship of women and they will be able to play an active role in the goal of developed Rajasthan.
