Chief Minister Girl Child Scheme is the most ambitious scheme of the Mahayuti government which is in power in Maharashtra. This scheme is being considered an important step towards women empowerment in the state. Under this, an amount of Rs 1.5 thousand is issued every month to eligible women. The coalition government led by Chief Minister Shinde has implemented this scheme in the state with complete transparency. Beneficiaries are selected under the scheme by strictly following the eligibility rules. Under the Ladki Bahin Scheme, a source of income has become available for women in Maharashtra. After the introduction of the scheme, women no longer need to depend on others for their minor needs.
Many women across Maharashtra have started small businesses with the money from the ‘Girl Sister’ scheme. Under this (Girl Sister Scheme) of Mahayuti Government, till now Rs 7500 has been deposited in the accounts of eligible women. About 2.5 crore women have registered for this scheme. In Maharashtra too, the money of the scheme launched on the occasion of Rakshabandhan is deposited directly into the accounts of women. Many women have got a source of income through the scheme. According to reports, many women have enrolled their children in good schools through this money.
Women’s increasing confidence
Through Shinde government’s Ladki Bahin Scheme, the Mahayuti coalition government has provided self-respect to women. Women’s confidence is increasing after getting their rightful money. Along with this, new opportunities are becoming available for women to increase employment and income in the state through this scheme.
Opposition hatched a conspiracy regarding the plan
The opposition has been continuously criticizing the popular schemes of the Maharashtra government. Efforts were also made to close down the state’s Bahin Scheme. The opposition also went to court for this. Even wrong forms were filled by women so that the beneficiaries could not get the benefits. Opponents uploaded junk data on the portal of Ladki Behan Yojana and also tried to close that portal. Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis has made this allegation publicly. Despite all the efforts of the opponents, Mahayuti implemented this plan strongly.
Misleading posts going on on social media
A malicious attempt was also made to create a conspiracy regarding this scheme through social media. Some people allegedly claimed that select beneficiaries have been selected through the scheme. It was alleged that the Mahayuti government was giving these benefits only to its voters. Whereas such misleading claims had no impact on the public. The government claimed that the scheme has been implemented with complete transparency. A transparent process of selection of characters is being adopted.
