Surya argued that the alleged irresponsible economic model of the current government has led to the financial crisis, adding that the state now stands on the brink of bankruptcy and economic anarchy. The government’s way of handling public money is creating an economic crisis. He further claimed that the Congress government has turned the revenue surplus budget of Rs 20,000 crore presented by the previous BJP administration into a revenue deficit of Rs 12,000 crore in just two years. The BJP MP urged voters in Maharashtra to pay attention and warned them that similar issues could arise if the Congress wins power in his state.

Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) leader and BJP MP Tejasvi Surya on Wednesday accused the Congress-led Karnataka government of leading the state towards financial instability and claimed that its economic policies have brought Karnataka to the brink of bankruptcy. Is. Surya’s comments came when he was campaigning for the Maharashtra Assembly elections in Mumbai.

Highlighting unfulfilled pre-poll promises, Surya said the Karnataka government’s promise of giving a monthly stipend of Rs 2,000 to women has not yet been fulfilled, with some beneficiaries resorting to indefinite protests. Pointing to budgetary constraints caused by pre-poll promises, he said, “The state government has no money left for development.”
