Champions Trophy 2025 is to be held on Pakistani soil next year. The Indian cricket team has clearly refused to go to Pakistan for this tournament. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) recently confirmed that India has informed the ICC about its reluctance to travel to Pakistan for the ICC Champions Trophy to be held in February-March next year.
Even though there is still doubt over the India-Pakistan match in the Champions Trophy, before the end of the year 2024, there is going to be a clash between India and Pakistan in not just one but 2 matches each. You might be shocked to know this. Yes, you heard it right. There are going to be two clashes between India and Pakistan in the next few days. The interesting thing is that both the major matches will be played within a month. That means fans will be able to enjoy the India-Pakistan match twice. Let us now know in detail about these two great matches.
Fans wait for India-Pakistan match
Actually, Asian Cricket Council i.e. ACC has announced the schedule of Asia Cup. The teams of arch-rivals India and Pakistan have been placed in the same group for the inaugural season of the Women’s U19 Asia Cup. This tournament will be held in Malaysia, in which all the 6 teams have been divided into two groups of three teams each. Group A comprises India, Pakistan and Nepal, while Group B comprises Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and hosts Malaysia. All the matches of this competition will be held at Beaumas Oval in Kuala Lumpur.
The tournament will begin on December 15 with the match between hosts Malaysia and Sri Lanka. India will face Pakistan in the second match on the same day. The next day, Sri Lanka will face Bangladesh, followed by Pakistan against Nepal. The last round match of the group stage will be held on December 17. On this day Bangladesh will face Malaysia, after that India will face Nepal. The top two teams from each group will advance to the ‘Super Four Round’ to be held on 19 and 20 December, while the fifth/sixth place play-off will take place on 18 December. The top two teams of ‘Super Four’ will reach the final on 22 December.
India-Pakistan will clash in Men’s Asia Cup
This is a matter of the second match. Now let’s talk about the first match. Before the Women’s U19 Asia Cup, there will be a clash between India and Pakistan on 30th November. This clash will take place in the Men’s U19 Asia Cup for which the Indian team has been announced. The Indian U19 cricket team will start its campaign in the tournament against Pakistan U19 team on November 30 in Dubai. After this, India will face Japan U19 and UAE U19 teams in Sharjah on November 2 and 4 respectively.

- India Under-19 vs Pakistan Under-19: 30 November, Dubai (10:30 am IST)
- India Under-19 vs Japan Under-19: December 2, Sharjah (10:30 am IST)
- India Under-19 vs UAE Under-19: 4 December, Sharjah (10:30 am IST)
- First semi-final match: 6 December, Dubai (10:30 am IST)
- Second semi-final match: 6 December, Sharjah (10:30 am IST)
- Final match: 8 December, Dubai (10:30 am IST)
