ANI

Siddaramaiah accused the BJP of threatening the Chief Ministers of all non-BJP ruled states through Income Tax, CBI and Enforcement Directorate. Referring to the case against him, his wife Parvati BM and brother-in-law Mallikarjuna Swamy in connection with the MUDA site allotment scam, Siddaramaiah said it was 100 per cent false.

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has made a big allegation against the Bharatiya Janata Party. Siddaramaiah said that BJP had offered Rs 50 crore each to 50 Congress MLAs to overthrow his government. He further claimed that after any Congress MLA agreed to BJP’s Rs 50 crore offer, the BJP resorted to filing false cases against them. Siddaramaiah made the allegations while addressing a gathering after inaugurating projects worth Rs 470 crore in T Narasipura assembly constituency in Mysore district.

The Congress leader clearly said that BJP offered Rs 50 crore to 50 MLAs to somehow overthrow our government. Describing the alleged fund as bribe money, Siddaramaiah asked where did he get so much money from? Did former chief ministers BS Yediyurappa, Basavaraj Bommai, opposition leader R Ashok, BJP state president BY Vijayendra print money? The Chief Minister further said that he has earned crores of rupees. Using the money, they offered Rs 50 crore to each MLA…but this time none of our MLAs agreed to it. Therefore, they have started a campaign to remove this government by any means. That’s why they are filing such false cases.

He said there was no stain on him since he became a minister 40 years ago, even as he was leader of the opposition and deputy CM twice. The Karnataka Chief Minister further alleged that the BJP and its ally JD(S) created false cases against him based on baseless allegations and misused their powers by using the ED and the Governor.
