Rio de Janeiro: External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi reviewed the process of withdrawal of troops from the borders of Demchok and Depsang in eastern Ladakh in a meeting on the sidelines of the G20 summit. Agreement reached between India and China

Brazil is hosting the G20 summit on Monday and Tuesday. Indian and Chinese armies had last month completed disengagement exercises in Demchok and Depsang after India and China signed an agreement to resolve the border dispute. Both sides have also resumed patrolling activities in both the areas after a gap of about four and a half years.
