After Madhya Pradesh, now Vikrant Massey, Raashi Khanna and Riddhi Dogra starrer ‘The Sabarmati Report’ has been made tax free in Chhattisgarh. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has announced to make the film ‘The Sabarmati Report’ tax free in Chhattisgarh. In this film, an attempt has been made to show the truth of the story of the train accident that took place in Godhra, Gujarat 22 years ago.

Chief Minister Sai has said that the film ‘The Sabarmati Report’ should also be watched because only the study of the past can give us better guidance about the present and future. He has said that this film is a very commendable and impressive attempt to expose the horrific truth of history which was tried to be hidden for vested interests. This film exposes the truth of the then system, which made a condemnable attempt to suppress the truth by spreading false narratives. The film presents the painful incident with sensitivity.

The Sabarmati Report is based on the tragic incident that took place on 27 February 2002, in which 59 people were burnt to death after two bogies of a train caught fire. This incident shook not only Gujarat but the entire country. Along with Vikrant Massey, actresses like Rashi Khanna, Riddhi Dogra are also in important roles in the film. In the film, Riddhi is playing the role of an English journalist and Vikrant-Rashi are playing the role of Hindi journalists.
