If you are a pensioner then November is the month for submitting your life certificate. Now only 10 days are left for you. If you have not yet submitted your life certificate, then do it soon, otherwise your pension may be stopped. The submission window for those below 80 years of age is open from November 1. Where can you deposit
On the offline platform, pensioners can submit the certificates directly to banks, post offices or other specified places. If the life certificate is not submitted by the end of November, pension payments will be stopped from December. Pensioners and family pensioners can submit their life certificate through Jeevan Pramaan portal, Doorstep Banking (DSB) agents, biometric devices at post offices, physical life certificate form at bank branches. State government employees can also directly go to the treasury office and submit their life certificate.

- Pensioners can authenticate their identity using biometric technology including face, fingerprint and iris recognition through Jeevan Pramaan and Aadhaar FaceRD app.
- Remember, your Aadhaar number is updated with the pension disbursing authority (like your bank or post office).
- Install ‘Jeevan Pramaan Face App’ and ‘AadhFaceRD’ from Google Play Store.
- Give necessary information about the pensioner
- After taking the photo, submit the information.
- The registered mobile number will send an SMS with a link to download the Jeevan Pramaan certificate.
Last date for submission of life certificate
For people below 80 years of age, the deadline to submit life certificate is between November 1 and 30. Super senior citizens (aged 80 years and above) have been allowed to submit their life certificate from October 1, with the last date being November 30. Let us tell you, in the year 2019, the Center directed banks to allow senior pensioners to submit their life certificate from October 1 every year instead of November.
