Earlier, Union Minister Chirag Paswan’s rebel uncle Pashupati Kumar Paras had to vacate the office of Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party in Patna on Monday. Pashupati Paras had got this bungalow four decades ago when he was an MLA. But later, after losing the election, this house was allotted in the name of Lok Janshakti Party led by late Ram Vilas Paswan. Following the demise of Ram Vilas Paswan in October 2020, LJP split into two following differences between Chirag Paswan and Pashupati Kumar Paras. Former Union Minister Paras tried his best to save the bungalow. He also filed a writ petition in the Patna High Court, but it was of no help. However, the court said that if needed, the party can apply to the department for allotment of a new bungalow.
