Amman: Jordanian authorities have killed the man accused of firing on a police team near the Israeli Embassy. The officers provided this information. Let us tell you that the slain accused had opened fire near the Israeli Embassy. Three police officers were injured in this incident. This firing incident took place early Sunday morning in the Rabiyah area of Amman, the capital of Jordan. This created panic in the entire area. Jordanian security forces immediately reached the spot.
Jordan’s Directorate of Public Security said in a statement that security forces pursued the attacker after receiving information that a man was opening fire in the area. The statement said, “After chasing the attacker, he was surrounded at some distance, after which he started firing at the security forces.” The security forces also retaliated, in which the attacker was killed.” The attacker has not been identified yet. No reason for firing on embassy officials has been understood yet. Let us tell you that earlier there was a peace agreement between Israel and Jordan in 1994, but after the war with Hamas and Israeli attack in Lebanon, there is a lot of tension between the two countries.
