In a conversation with ETimes, Abhishek Bachchan said, ‘There is a word in Hindi, ‘persistence’. Somehow who you are as a person, who you are as a person, should not change. Your core principles should not change. You have to learn to adapt and evolve or you will be left behind, but your core values should not change. That’s why I still believe that when the bad does not give up its evil, then why should the good give up its goodness?
Abhishek doesn’t care
Taking this point further, Abhishek said, ‘I cannot change the person I am. I am a very positive person and you cannot focus on negative things. When you focus on negative things it overwhelms you. Who you are as a person, what your core values are, they should not change. Also who are you as a man? what do you stand for? If I become a leaf blowing in the wind, people will say that he is not a solid person. That’s why some things don’t change inside me.
