Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday visited the state headquarters of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) here in Odisha and discussed ways to strengthen the party in the state.
Modi spent about two hours at the party office during which he interacted with party leaders and workers. “Visited the state headquarters of BJP in Odisha and spoke to party leaders and workers,” the Prime Minister said in a post on Twitter. We discussed how to strengthen the party across the state and work to improve the lives of the people. ,
The Prime Minister also had lunch with party leaders at the BJP office here before leaving for Raj Bhavan, where he will stay for the night. BJP’s Odisha unit president Manmohan Samal said, “There was no discussion on the state government or any other related matter… We talked like family members.” BJP MP Rudra Narayan Pani said Modi listened patiently to party leaders and workers.
