Allu Arjun’s most awaited film ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ is still two days away from its release in theatres. The film will premiere in theaters on December 5. However, even before its release, the Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna starrer is making new records every day. The upcoming action film has already left behind the records of films like KGF Chapter 2, Kalki 2898 AD and Baahubali 2 and now the film has created a new record. Even before the release of Pushpa 2, more than one million tickets of the film have been sold on the online booking app, Book My Show. Not only this, the film has also crossed the Rs 50 crore mark on its opening day.
Over 21,000 shows in different languages in India
According to the latest data from Sacknilk, Pushpa 2 has crossed Rs 50 crore mark on the first day itself, which includes a net collection of Rs 35.75 crore from over 21,000 shows in different languages across India.
Pushpa 2 release date
The film was initially scheduled to release in theaters on December 6. However, the makers changed its release date and announced that the film will now release on the big screens on December 5. The makers are hopeful that the film will do well at the box office as no other film is being released along with it. Pushpa 2 is releasing in theaters this weekend. Earlier, Vicky Kaushal-starrer Chhaava was scheduled to release on December 5, but its makers postponed the film’s release to February to avoid a box office clash.

Directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Pushpa 2 stars Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil and Prakash Raj in the lead roles. The music rights of the film are with T-Series. The film has already earned Rs 1085 crore before its release. The makers have bought the theatrical rights of the film for Rs 640 crores. Talking about its digital deal, Netflix has bought the rights of Pushpa 2 for Rs 275 crore.
