Indian women’s cricket team has faced defeat in another match. A three-match ODI series was being played between India and Australia, in the last match of which Team India lost by a huge margin and was wiped out. Australia set a target of 299 runs for India, Annabel Sutherland scored a century
Batting first in the third ODI match played against Australia, the Australian team made a big score of 298 runs. That means the Indian women’s team had to score around 300 runs to win, but the team failed in this. Annabel Sutherland, who came to bat at number 5 for Australia, scored a brilliant century. Smriti Mandhana scored a century, but the rest of the team did not get support
After this, when Team India came out to chase the runs, opener Richa Ghosh returned to the pavilion after scoring only two runs. However, after this Smriti Mandhana and Harleen Deval made a big partnership. Smriti Mandhana even scored a century. She is the only player to score two ODI centuries against Australia at home. Harleen supported him. But as soon as Harleen was out after scoring 39 runs, the entire team fell apart like a pack of cards. The Indian team could not even play its full quota of 50 overs and was out after scoring only 215 runs in 45.1 overs. In this way, Australia won the match by a huge margin of 83 runs.
