The West Indies cricket team has not done anything special in recent times. The team is still going through the transition phase. However, some improvement is gradually being seen in his performance. The West Indies team has decided to make Darren Sammy the new head coach of the team in all three formats. Sammy was already the head coach of the team in white ball. Sammy said that he is honored to take up the role of coaching the West Indies team in all formats. I’m really excited for the additional responsibility and new journey that I think my team and I will be ready for. West Indies’ performance under Sammy’s leadership has been very good. They recently defeated Bangladesh 3-0 in the home ODI series and also defeated England 2-1 in the ODI series. Sammy takes over the white-ball coaching role in 2023.
