Child injured in stampede at Pushpa 2 premiere, condition critical
A woman was killed and her 8-year-old child seriously injured in a stampede at Sandhya Theater in Hyderabad during the premiere of Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa 2’. The child has been admitted to the hospital since December 4, now a big update has come out regarding his health. The child’s condition remains critical and has been declared brain dead due to lack of breathing. There is no visible improvement in the neurological condition of the child. Due to which the child is on mechanical ventilation. Tracheostomy is being considered to remove him from the ventilator.
Allu Arjun’s little fan on ventilator
On Tuesday, Hyderabad City Police Commissioner CV Anand, Telangana Government Health Secretary Dr Christina IAS visited KIMS Hospital on behalf of the Telangana government to inquire about the 9-year-old boy Mr Teja. According to a post shared by Hyderabad City Police on X (earlier Twitter), doctors have informed them that the boy is being treated with ventilator support and the treatment is likely to be long-term.

The post also mentioned that doctors will soon issue a medical bulletin on Mr Teja’s health conditions. Health Secretary Dr. Christina said that we are regularly monitoring the health condition of Mr. Teja and hope for his speedy recovery.
Brain dead 9 year old innocent
The child was admitted to the hospital due to lack of oxygen and difficulty in breathing after he sustained injuries in the stampede at Sandhya theater on December 4. On December 10, the child was removed from oxygen support, but on December 12, his condition deteriorated again. Meanwhile, Hyderabad City Police Commissioner CV Anand visited the hospital, following which he informed that 9-year-old Mr Tej was brain dead due to lack of breathing and it would take a long time for him to recover.
Allu Arjun was arrested in Sandhya theater stampede case
Pushpa 2 star Allu Arjun was arrested after the stampede incident and was released on bail by the Telangana High Court. Later, the actor took to his Instagram handle to share a post expressing his concern over the injured child, where he also revealed that he has been advised not to visit him in the hospital due to the ongoing legal proceedings. Along with this, Allu Arjun has announced all possible help along with compensation of Rs 25 lakh to the victim’s family.

On 4 December, a horrifying incident occurred during the midnight premiere at Sandhya Theatre, Hyderabad. After reaching Allu Arjun’s place, there was a huge crowd of fans and within seconds the situation went out of control and a stampede like situation was created. The incident took the life of a woman named Revathi and left several people injured. Talking about Pushpa 2 box office collection, the film has earned more than Rs 1,400 crore globally. Its net collection in India is also going to cross the Rs 1,000 crore mark soon.
