Pakistan vs England 1st Test: The England cricket team has to play a three-Test series against Pakistan. Now England has announced its playing eleven for the Test starting from October 7 in Multan. England captain Ben Stokes will not play in the first match due to injury. In his place, Ollie Pope will take over the responsibility of captaincy in the first test.
Brayden Carse got a chance to debut
Durham fast bowler Brayden Carse will make his Test debut in the first Test match against Pakistan. Somerset spinner Jack Leach is returning to the Test set-up for the first time since the tour of India in January. The England team will expect good performance from him. Opener batsman Jack Crowley has completely recovered from his finger injury and has returned to the playing eleven.
The responsibility of batting in the first Test match against Pakistan will be on Jack Crawley, Ben Duckett, Ollie Pope, Joe Root and Harry Brook. Duckett and Brook have been in excellent form for some time now and have single-handedly helped the England team win many matches. Joe Root’s experience in Pakistan will be useful to England and he will be eager to play a big innings once again.

A total of 88 test matches have been played between Pakistan and England so far, out of which England has won 28 and the Pakistani team has been successful in winning 21. 39 test matches have been drawn.
