Megan Schutt: Australia’s bowling has done wonders in the Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 being played in the United Arab Emirates. The 10th match of T20 World Cup 2024 is being played between defending champions Australia and New Zealand. Batting first in this match, the Australian team scored 148 runs losing 8 wickets in 20 overs. For Australia, opening batsman Beth Mooney scored 40 runs in 32 balls with the help of 2 fours while Alice Perry contributed 30 runs. Perry hit 3 fours and a six in his innings. Amelia Kerr was the most successful bowler for New Zealand. Kerr took 4 wickets for 26 runs in 4 overs.

He broke South Africa’s legendary bowler Shabnam Ismail’s record of 43 wickets. Megan Schutt took her 44th wicket in the World Cup as Georgia Plimmer. Before this match, both Shute and Ismail had 43-43 wickets.
