Maruti Suzuki has introduced its Jimny Compact SUV.
Maruti Suzuki is dominating the Auto Expo. During the Auto Expo, the company showcased the Futuro-E on the first day. The company removed the curtain on the Vitara Brezza petrol on the second day and the Ignis on the third day. On the third day, the company introduced its Jimny Compact SUV. This car is not coming in the Indian market right now. However, if Maruti gets a good response during the expo, then the company will launch it in the Indian market as well.
Many features for vehicle safety
This vehicle was launched globally last year and it received excellent response. This vehicle is much better in terms of safety. There are many things for security such as lane assist, blind spot warning features. It is a sub-4 m SUV and also has a 1.5-liter petrol engine.
Maruti Suzuki also uses a 1.5 liter petrol engine in its Brezza and its price can be gauged from the price of the Jimny. It is believed that its price in the market will be less than 10 lakh rupees.
The vehicle has a 3 link rigid axle and ladder frame with low-range transfer gearbox. Suzuki is providing 220mm ground clearance with this All Grip Pro technology and says that this will help the vehicle to overcome any obstacle. The 1.5 liter petrol engine in the vehicle generates 75kW of power and 130Nm.
Currently selling in 194 countries
Regarding Suzuki Jimny, the company’s managing director and CEO Kenichi Ayukawa said that this vehicle has been introduced at the Auto Expo to get feedback from Indian customers. He said that Jimny has been developed after research keeping in mind the needs and expectations of professional people. Suzuki currently sells Jimny in 194 countries.
