Ford Ecosport BS-VI
Ford is going to launch BS 6 version of its EcoSport in India on January 15 i.e. tomorrow. The 1.5 liter TIVCT petrol and TDCI diesel engines of this car will be upgraded to conform to the new emission norms, while the 1.0 liter EcoBoost engine will no longer be available. This information has been found due to a notification leaked by Ford to dealers on the Internet.
According to a leaked document, the BS6 version of the Ford Endeavor SUV will be launched by March 2020. The Endeavor SUV will be available only in White, Black and Silver colors. The company has announced that it has discontinued Smoke Gray, MoonDust Silver and Sunset Red color for this model.

It has also been revealed that the 1.5 liter TIVCT petrol automatic versions of Ford Figo and Aspire have been discontinued. A new AT version of both these models will be introduced later. All these changes mentioned in the document are coming into effect from 15 January.
Right now the Ford EcoSport BS4 ex-showroom Delhi price starts from 7.91 lakhs up to Rs 11.45 lakhs. It has three engine options. The first 1497 cc, 3 inline cylinder is a 1.5 liter petrol engine. Coming with a 5-speed MT / 6-speed AT gearbox, this engine generates power of 123 PS at 6500 rpm and a peak torque of 150 Nm at 4500 rpm. The mileage of this engine is 17.0 km / l (MT), 16.3 km / l (MT), 14.8 km / l (AT).
The second 999 cc, 3 inline cylinder is a 1.0 liter GTDI engine. Coming with a 6-speed MT gearbox, this engine generates 125 PS of power at 6000 rpm and a peak torque of 170 Nm at 1500-4500 rpm. The mileage of this engine is 18.1 km / l (MT).
The third is a 1498 cc, 4 inline cylinder 1.5 liter diesel engine. Coming with a 5 speed MT gearbox, this engine generates 100 PS of power at 3750 rpm and peak torque of 205 Nm at 1750-3250 rpm. Its mileage is 23.0 km / l (MT).
