Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has announced that total sales of its BS-VI Compliant Towellers have crossed 1 lakh units. The company currently has three BS-VI models in the market. These are SP 125 bikes and Activa 125 BS-VI and Activa 6G scooters. Honda was the first company in the country to first launch a BS-VI towler, the Activa 125 BS-VI.
Just a few weeks ago, the company introduced the Activa 6G scooter. It has been offered in two trim standard and deluxe and the ex-showroom price starts at Rs 63,912. The Activa 6G is about Rs 7500 more expensive than the BS4 5G model. Regarding the sales figures of BS-VI models, HMSI Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing Yadvinder Singh Guleria says that the company is proud that it is about 6 months before the implementation of BS-VI emission norms. BS-VI Compliant will be full portfolio from February
