Hyundai Motor India has launched its new Creta 2020 SUV. Its ex-showroom price starts from Rs. 9.99 lakhs. 14000 units of the new Hyundai Creta were booked even before they launched. More than 50 percent of these bookings are for the BSVI diesel model. The new 2020 Hyundai Creta was unveiled at the Auto Expo 2020. The new Creta will compete with Kia Seltos, MG Hector and Tata Harrier. According to the variants, the prices of the new Creta SUV are as follows.
The new Creta will be available in both petrol and diesel engine options. It includes 1.5L petrol, 1.4L turbo petrol and 1.5L diesel engine options.
Hyundai will also get BlueLink technology in the new Creta. It was first given by the company in the Venue SUV. This technology will also be available in the new upcoming Hyundai Verna. The new version of Bluelink technology will come with additional features in the new Creta. Like ‘Hello Bluelink’ wake up command. With the ‘Hello Bluelink’ wake up command, features like sunroof open and close, seat ventilation control, climate control- temperature, fan speed control, wind direction, air intake type control (fresh / circulation) can be accessed. By giving a voice command, information of public holiday of India, live cricket score will be known.
The new Hyundai Creta will have 4 segment-first features paddle shifters, twin-tip exhaust, remote engine start and rear seat headrest cushions in both manual and automatic variants. Second-row seats of the new Creta will be 2 step reclining seats. Other features of the interiors include window sunshade, seat headrest cushion, USB charger, LED reading lamps and center armrest.
Talking about the connected features of the new 2020 Hyundai Creta, there will be a BlueLink Integrated SmartWatch app with the car. Through this, bluelink connected features like engine start / stop, door lock / unlock, vehicle status information (engine, HVAC, door, fuel level etc.), vehicle alerts (geo fines, speed, time fines, vale, vehicle status, stolon vehicle) etc. Will be able to access and receive notifications through smartwatches. BlueLink supports the smartwatch app for Google Watch’s Wear OS, Apple Watch’s watch OS and Samsung Galaxy Watch’s TIZEN OS.
Driving Mode and Warranty
The new Hyundai Creta will get three driving modes – Eco, Comfort and Sport. There will be traction control with snow, sand and mud modes. The car will get 7 speed DCT variants. The new Hyundai Creta will come with warranty options of 3 years / unlimited km, 4 years / 60000 km or 5 years / 50000 km. The company will also provide 3-year road side assistance, bluelink subscription and map updates and a 15-day home visit with the new Creta.
Talking about safety features, the new 2020 Hyundai Creta will have dual airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, driver and passenger seatbelt reminder, emergency stop signal etc. Apart from this, the higher variants of the car will also get 6 airbags, electronic stability control, vehicle stability management, hill start assist control, rear disc brakes, steering adaptive parking guidelines along with rear camera, ISOFIX and burglar alarm.
