Hyderabad-based Pure EV has launched a high-speed electric scooter EPluto 7G. According to the statement released by the company, the EPluto 7G electric scooter has been launched at an ex-showroom price of Rs 79999. Its top speed is 60 KMPH and a battery warranty of 40000 km is being given.

It was launched on the campus of IIT Hyderabad by VK Saraswat, member of NITI Aayog, G Satish Reddy, Chairman of Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) and Professor BS Murthy, Director, IIT Hyderabad.

Speed ​​of 0-40 kmph in 5 seconds

EPluto 7G can accelerate from 0-40 KMPH in just 5 seconds. On a single charge, the scooter can travel up to 90–120 km. The battery and vehicle of this high speed e-scooter have been designed and developed keeping in mind the Indian terrain and weather conditions.

Plan to land 10000 electric vehicles in 2020

Pure EV has its factory in IIT Hyderabad campus. The company has a manufacturing capacity of 2000 units per month. Pure EV plans to have 10,000 electric vehicles on the roads in the current calendar year.
