Hero has launched the BS6 Virgin of the Super Splendor, updating its vehicle lineup in India, with the self-drum alloy wheel variant of the BS6 Super Splendor priced at Rs 67,300 ex showroom. At the same time, its self-disc alloy wheel has been priced at Rs 70,800. BS6 Hero Super Splendor has also been updated with the engine. At the same time, the price of the new bike has been increased to Rs 5500 as compared to earlier.
The 125cc engine is used in the Hero Super Splendor, which is equipped with the XSense technology with fuel injection. The company claims that the new bike is capable of giving 19 percent more power. Which will generate power of 10.7bhp at 7500 rpm and 10.6nm of torque at 6000 rpm. This bike is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
The 2020 Hero Super Splendor is built on an all-new diamond frame instead of a double-cradle unit. Whose seats are longer by 45 mm than before. At the same time, the ground clearance of the bike has been increased to 180 mm as compared to the earlier. Along with this, a 240 mm disc brake and 130 mm drum brake is given in the rear for braking.
The company has also used the Idol Start Stop System technology in Hero Super Splendor. The company has also made the Super Splendor available in dual tone colour option. In which it will be available in three new colour options Glaze Black, Heavy Gray, Candy Blaze Red with Metallic Nexus Blue Pet Scheme. At the same time, the company has kept the combined braking system standard.
Let me tell you, Hero has recently launched its popular bike Glamor 125 in India by converting BS6, which the company has launched in two variants drums and discs. The drum variant of this bike has been priced at Rs 68,900 and the top-end disc brake variant has been priced at Rs 72,400. Which is just Rs 1,450 more than its BS4 model.
