corona During this period, companies had provided the facility of work from home to their employees. Now the employees are liking this facility so much that they do not want to return to the office. When the situation became normal after the pandemic, companies implemented hybrid work culture. In this one had to work some days from office and some days from home. After this, companies gradually started calling employees to office completely. But even today, employees in many companies are working from home. They are liking WFH because of its many benefits. Now the AWS CEO of the world’s leading e-commerce company Amazon has told the employees to leave the company if they do not want to come to the office.

Anyone who does not want to come to office should leave the company

Amazon’s AWS CEO Matt Garman is strongly supporting the company’s Vivavid policy of working from office 5 days a week. He said that anyone who does not support this policy can leave the company. There are many other companies in the market. Garman said this at the AWS all hands meeting. “If there are people who can’t or don’t want to do a good job in this environment, that’s OK,” Garman said. There are other companies in the market. He further said, ‘I am not saying this in a bad way. We want an environment where we work together. Garman added, ‘When we want to innovate on really interesting products, it’s important to work together across the office.’

employees are getting angry

The policy of working from office 5 days a week has angered many Amazon employees. Employees say that work from office wastes time in commuting and there is no data on the benefits of WFO. Amazon was earlier implementing a policy of working from office 3 days a week, but CEO Andy Jassy said last month that we will work from office 5 days a week to stay invent, collaborate and connected. Amazon is the world’s second largest private employer after Walmart.
