The domestic stock market opened with gains for the second consecutive day on Tuesday. At 9.23 am, the benchmark Sensex of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) was at the level of 80415.90 with a rise of 306.05 points, while the National Stock Exchange (NSE) Nifty was at the level of 24,322.45 with a gain of 100.55 points. Nifty Bank was also seen trading 146.1 points higher at 52,353.60. Bharti Airtel, ICICI Bank, HUL, Shriram Finance and TCS were the major gainers on the Nifty in the early trading session, while ONGC, NTPC, L&T, Trent and Tata Motors were among the losers.

According to Moneycontrol news, BHEL has received notification of agreement from Power Grid Corporation of India for the Khavra-Nagpur HVDC project. The infra company has received the contract letter from NHAI for the road project worth Rs 1,391 crore. Also, Siemens, Ansal Properties and Infrastructure and Unistar Multimedia will announce their quarterly results on November 26. There was a sharp rise in telecom shares in morning trading. The Union Cabinet approved the waiver of bank guarantees for telecom operators, the impact of which was seen on these stocks.
Asian Market and Crude Oil
The trading trend was positive in the stock markets of Asia. According to Moneycontrol, at 8.30 am, Gift Nifty was seen trading with a decline of 64 points. The Nikkei was down 1.36 percent at 38,260.38. The Straits Times showed a decline of 0.35 percent. Taiwan market also fell 0.63 percent to the level of 22,803.54. Hang Seng was seen rising by 0.47 percent at the level of 19,240.61. Kospi showed a decline of 0.61 percent. Whereas Shanghai Composite showed a rise of 0.24 percent at the level of 3271.57.
How was the market in the last session?
The domestic stock market had surged strongly in the last session i.e. on 25th November. The Sensex finally jumped 992.74 points and closed at the level of 80,109.85. Similarly, Nifty increased by 314.60 points and closed at the level of 24,221.90.
