Famous entrepreneur and MDH Spice owner Dharampal Gulati died at the age of 97

The owner of masala brand MDH 'Mahashay' #DharampalGulati passes away.

MDH Spices brand owner Dharampal Gulati passed away on Thursday at the age of 97. According to the report, He was undergoing treatment in a hospital in Delhi for the last three weeks but died this morning.

Dharampal was born on 27 March 1923 in Sialkot (Pakistan). But he moved to India after the Partition of India Pakistan, he opened his first store in Karol Bagh, Delhi.

From a small shop in Karol Bagh, Gulati created MDH as India’s premier spice brand. MDH currently has 15 factories across the country and according to the report sells its products worldwide. Not only this, the company has its own office in London (U.K.) and a commercial manufacturing unit in Sharjah (U.A.E.).


He was very active in social work and was active till the last moment.
