According to the government, the second phase of Bharat Brand Scheme is being started from Wednesday, October 23. Let us tell you that the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi had started this scheme last year.

Sales will start first in Delhi, Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Gujarat

Under the Bharat Brand Scheme, the Central Government sells flour, rice and pulses at cheap prices. Union Food and Consumer Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi will inaugurate the second phase of the scheme. Under the NCCF scheme, an agency of the Food Ministry, the sale of flour, rice and pulses at cheap prices will be started first in Delhi, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Maharashtra. After this, sale of cheap flour, rice and pulses will start across the country within the next 10 days.

Government fixed prices for flour, rice and pulses

According to the report, apart from NCCF, cheap flour, rice and pulses will also be sold through NAFED and Kendriya Bhandar. Along with this, the government is also in talks with e-commerce platforms and retailers for the sale of these food items. Reports say that in the second phase of Bharat Brand, the government has announced Rs 300 for 10 kg flour packet, Rs 340 for 10 kg rice packet, Rs 70 for 1 kg chana dal, Rs 93 for 1 kg moong dal. It has been fixed at Rs 89 for one kg masoor dal.
