Share Market Closing 27th Sep, 2024: The ongoing bullish trend in the stock market stopped on Friday. After reaching record high during trading on the last day of the week, the stock market started declining. Today, after reaching a record high of 85,978.25 points, BSE Sensex closed at 85,571.85 points with a fall of 264.27 points. Similarly, after reaching the record level of 26,277.35 points, Nifty 50 also closed at 26,178.95 points with a loss of 37.10 points.
15 companies of Sensex closed in green and 15 companies closed in red.
Today, shares of 15 out of 30 Sensex companies closed in the green mark and shares of 15 companies closed in the red mark. Similarly, out of 50 Nifty 50, shares of 29 companies closed in green mark and shares of 20 companies closed in red mark and shares of one company closed with no change.
Sharp rise in Sun Pharma shares
For Sensex, shares of leading pharma company Sun Pharma closed with the highest gain of 2.67 percent. Apart from this, a rise of 1.58 percent was recorded in the shares of Titan, 1.51 percent in the shares of NTPC, 1.50 percent in the shares of Reliance Industries, 1.37 percent in the shares of HCL Tech, 1.10 percent in the shares of Bajaj Finserv.
PSU stock Power Grid shares fall sharply
On the other hand, PowerGrid shares recorded the maximum decline of 2.75 percent today. 1.80 percent in ICICI Bank shares, 1.74 percent in Bharti Airtel shares, 1.69 percent in HDFC Bank shares, 1.39 percent in Kotak Mahindra Bank shares, 1.37 percent in Larsen & Toubro shares and 1.08 percent in Adani Ports shares. A big decline was seen.
