On Tuesday, an online portal developed by NAREDCO, an association of real estate developers, was launched.
Housing and Urban Affairs Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra on Tuesday inaugurated an online portal developed by NAREDCO, an association of real estate developers, to promote the safe purchase and sale of finished houses. He said that this portal has the potential to become an Amazon of Indian real estate. Mishra said that this portal (HousingForAll.com) should be authentic and transparent. Also, it should also have a redressal system to solve customer problems.
CREDAI will also bring portal
After presenting the portal, Mishra said that this website is not for NAREDCO but for customers and home buyers. He said that CREDAI, an association of real estate companies, will also offer such a portal. The National Real Estate Development Council (NAREDCO), the apex organization of real estate developers, will only list ready residential projects registered at RERA on this portal.
The portal will be open to real estate developers for only one month, from 14 January to 13 February 2020. During this time, they will be able to register their projects. The portal will be opened to home buyers from 14 February. A 45-day sale will start from this day. In the initial 15 days, the buyer in the house will be able to see the offer and select the house. They will be able to start purchasing houses from March 1 to March 31, 2020.
Booking on payment of Rs 25,000
NAREDCO expects more than 1,000 residential projects to be listed. Buyers can book one of their units on the portal by paying only Rs 25,000. If the buyer does not purchase any unit, the entire amount will be returned to him.
