Companies had expected improvement

According to the report, in the September quarter, 62.1 percent companies expected the overall economic situation to improve in the next six months. Whereas 58 percent of the companies expected their financial position to improve during the same period. During the period under review, companies utilized 96.3 percent of their capacity, which is close to or above the optimum level.

493 companies participated in the survey

The report says sentiments regarding exports of finished products remain encouraging. However, a relatively small number of companies expect it to increase in the next six months. In this survey conducted in September 2024, 493 companies from six cities in all four regions of the country participated.
