Sambalpuri singer Rukhsana Bano, who gained recognition with her folk songs, has passed away. The singer was admitted to AIIMS in Bhubaneswar for the past several days. Despite all the efforts of the doctors, the 27-year-old young singer could not be saved. After Rukhsana's death, her family members have accused other Sambalpuri singers of poisoning and killing her.
Rukhsana Bano died on 18 September. After this, her family has accused other Sambalpuri singers that they poisoned their daughter out of jealousy, due to which her condition deteriorated. About 15 days ago, Rukhsana was shooting for a song in Bolangir, where her health deteriorated.
When her condition worsened, she was admitted to a hospital in Bhawanipatna on August 27, after which she was referred to Bolangir Bhima Medical College. When she did not get relief here, she was first admitted to a hospital in Bargarh and then to AIIMS in Bhubaneswar. At present, AIIMS has not given any official information on the cause of Ruksana's death.
According to Aaj Tak's report, Bargarh doctor Santosh Tete has said that Ruksana's report for scrub typhus was positive. Apart from this, she also had pneumonia, liver infection and heart problems. She was put on ventilator.
