But I always felt that there was something special in Akshay. I had signed Akshay and I told him that the work would be done only on my terms. After this, director Sunil cast Akshay Kumar for the film Jaanwar. Karisma Kapoor was signed in the lead role with Akshay. Director Sunil says, ‘I told Karishma that there would be two problems in this film of mine. One thing is that I will not be able to give you as much money as you get from others. And secondly, Akshay is a hero. He said no problem, your company is our company. His mother Babita had also said that we would love to keep working with you. Akshay Kumar worked in the film Jaanwar.

Karisma Kapoor and Shilpa Shetty were seen in lead roles along with Akshay Kumar in the film. The film was directed by Sunil Darshan and the music of the film was given by Anand Milind duo.
