Veteran actor Boman Irani has won the Best Actor Male award in the feature film category at the International Film Festival of South Asia Toronto (IFFSA) 2024. Boman has received the award for his performance in his recently released ‘The Mehta Boys’. He has given this information by sharing a post on his Instagram. IFFSA 2024 has also shared the update about this year’s winner on its social media.
Boman Irani received the Best Actor Award
IFFSA Toronto shared the post for Boman Irani and wrote, ‘Award to Boman Irani for Best Actor Male Feature Film – The Mehta Boys. Boman is a very brilliant actor who has been successful in winning the hearts of the audience with every character he plays. ‘The Mehta Boys’ is Boman Irani’s first film as a director and recently this film was also shown at the Chicago South Asian Film Festival.

In the film ‘The Mehta Boys’, Boman plays the role of a father who struggles with the emotional ups and downs of his relationship with his son. Artists including Avinash Tiwari and Shreya Chaudhary were present in this festival. Also present were co-writer Alex Dinelaris and producers Danesh Irani of Irani Movietone and Anikta Batra of Chuckbold Limited. The film is going to be released on Amazon Prime Video.
