On the show, Janhvi revealed that her father and filmmaker Boney Kapoor adopted South Indian culture after falling in love with Sridevi. For those who don’t know, Sridevi was raised in Chennai. Her father was reportedly Tamil and her mother spoke Telugu.
Sridevi used to fight like North Indians
In the promo of the Netflix comedy show, Janhvi revealed that her father Boney Kapoor had transformed himself from a Punjabi to a South Indian after falling in love with Sridevi and started eating idlis instead of parathas for breakfast. She added that her mother also adopted ‘North Indian’ traits for Boney Kapoor and the family and slowly she reached a point where she started fighting like North Indians.
Junior NTR’s favorite Bollywood star
Janhvi Kapoor says, ‘Papa had already converted. He started eating Idli-Sambhar instead of Aloo Ka Paratha for breakfast and Mom started fighting like North Indians.’ Meanwhile, when Junior NTR was asked about his favourite Bollywood star, the actor said, ‘Sridevi, always.’ On this, Saif Ali Khan says, ‘This was my answer for the South.’
