Malayalam film industry has been continuously presenting excellent content to the people for years, but for the last few years, South films are becoming popular across the country which is attracting everyone’s attention. Audiences no longer wait for new releases from Mollywood, not Bollywood, Hollywood and Korean. Especially those which are released on OTT platform. You can watch these explosive films and series on Netflix, Disney Plus Hotstar, Amazon Prime Video.
Gaganchari:
Gaganachari, directed by Arun Chandu and written by Chandu and Shiva Sai, the Malayalam science fiction comedy takes the audience to 2050s Kerala, where three boys meet a mysterious alien. Gokul Suresh, Aju Varghese, Anarkali Marikar and K.B. Ganesh Kumar’s film ‘Gaganachari’ is coming on OTT in June, 2024, four months after its theatrical release. You can watch it on Amazon Prime Video on November 4.
Level Cross:
Written and directed by Arfaz Ayyub, Level Cross stars Asif Ali, Amala Paul and Sharaf U Dheen while the music is composed by Vishal Chandrashekhar. ‘Level Cross’, shot in Tunisia, can be watched on Amazon Prime Video after its theatrical release on July 26.
Little Hearts:
Little Hearts romantic comedy directed by AB Treesa Paul and Anto Jose Perera and written by Rajesh Pinnadan is produced by Sandra Thomas Productions. It stars Shane Nigam and Mahima Nambiar in lead roles. After releasing on June 7, 2024, ‘Little Hearts’ has now started streaming on OTT.
Bharatnatyam:
Bharathanatyam comedy-drama written and directed by Krishnadas Murali is produced by Thomas Thiruvalla and Saiju Kurup. The film stars Saiju Kurup, Saikumar, Kalaranjini and Sreeja Ravi in lead roles. The film, which was scheduled to release in theaters on August 30, 2024, is now streaming on OTT from November 1. The music of this film has been composed by Samuel AB while editing has been done by Bablu Aju and Shafiq VB.
Gollum:
Directed by Samjad, who has also co-written the screenplay in his directorial debut Golam. This suspension thriller stars Ranjit Sajeev, Sunny Wayne, Dileesh Pothan, Alencier Le Lopez and Siddiqui. ‘Golam’ has recently started streaming on OTT, showing a suspenseful story. You can watch it on Prime Video on 5th November.
