Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 VS Singham Again.
Last Friday i.e. on 1st November, two big budget films were released in theatres. These films released on Diwali weekend were no less than a gift for the audience. There was huge craze for both the films. Due to strong buzz, both the films had a good opening and made bumper earnings on the first day itself, filling the makers’ purse. These two films are none other than the multi starrer ‘Singham Again’ and ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’. Now four days have passed since the release of both the films. On the third day itself, both the films had crossed the earning mark of Rs 100 crore. After creating a stir in the weekend test, the results of Monday have also come. There is a huge decline in the figures for the fourth day. Both the films have earned half of what they earned on opening day. ‘Singham Again’ was leading continuously in the last three days, but now on the fourth day ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ has come on par. Earnings of ‘Singham Again’
According to Secnilk data, ‘Singham Again’ did a great job at the box office in its first 3 days and made a huge collection of an estimated Rs 121 crore in India. There was a big decline in earnings on the fourth day. The film could earn only an estimated Rs 17.50 crore on the fourth day i.e. Monday. In such a situation, ‘Singham Again’ did not perform well in the Monday test. Let us tell you, these are preliminary figures, slight changes may be seen in it due to single screen figures. However, the film has earned a total of Rs 139.25 crore so far.

According to Secnilk data, Kartik Aryan starrer ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ did well at the box office in the first 3 days but lagged behind ‘Singham Again’ in daily collections. The earning of ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ was Rs 106 crore in the last few days, but even after the decline on the fourth day, the film is giving tough competition to ‘Singham Again’. The earnings of both were equal on the fourth day. The fourth day box office collection of ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ is Rs 17.50 crore. If we look at the total collection, the film has earned Rs 123.50 crore in four days.

The films are definitely benefiting from the association of big franchises and many big stars, but it remains to be seen whether they are able to earn more than their budget.
