Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone’s film ‘Chhapak’ knocked at the box office on 10 January. Since its release, the film has been able to collect much less collections than expected.
Deepika film has been released on Chhapak box office. Film Critics has praised Chhapak. That thing is different, this film has failed to woo the audience. That is why on the very first day of its release, the film failed to attract viewers. On the second day there was a lot of bounce in the collection of the film. Chhapaak was traded the next day at Rs 6.50 crore. With which the film grossed only 11 crores, but the film’s revenue fell again on the third day.
If we talk about Mumbai, then there is no significant impact of the film Chhapak. It is being told that, due to Ayaz Devgan’s film Tanha ji, people are not watching Chhapak. There are similar situations in UP and Delhi too. Only West Bengal is a place where both Tanha ji and Chhapak are getting the love of the audience together.
By the way, Tanha ji is giving a strong push to Chhapak because Ajay Devgan’s film has been released on almost 400 screens across the country whereas Chhapak has been released on only 1700 screens.
Even after the decline in the collection, there is still some hope left. It is also believed that due to the holiday of Lohri and Makarsankranti, the film business can benefit. That matter is different, even after the weekend, there has been no significant impact on the film’s earnings.
Deepika Padukone is seen in the role of Acid Attack Survivor Lakshmi Aggarwal in the film Chhapak. In such a situation, it would not be wrong to say that, even though this film by Meghna Gulzar is made on a sensitive and true incident, it is failing to attract the audience. It will be fun to see how many days Meghna Gulzar’s film will survive at the box office.
